Beer at the Legion
The American Legion in North St. Paul participates in beer promotions that benefit both Legion patrons in the form of special prices on tap beer, as well as bottled beer, and that also benefits area veterans in the form of specials that beer manufactures offer whereby part of the proceeds from the sale of beer is donated to charities that help veterans.
For example, the Beer of the Month for January, 2012, is Founding Fathers beer. Portions of this beer sold goes to benefit Veterans.
Enjoy the HIGH LIFE at the Legion!
It was Miller Brewing who last summer donated 10 cent per bottle cap toward High Life experiences for returning veterans. Up to a million dollars wwnt toward paying soldiers' way into sports events, concerts, outdoor adventures and more.
This past Winter, Budweiser is also donated portions of the sale of Budweiser tap beer and bottle beer towards charities that help veterans.
